S2 Grupo opens in Valencia one of the most advanced cybersecurity centers in the world

• This afternoon the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, and the Minister of Finance, Vicente Soler, have visited their new headquarters in this city.

Valencia, September 26, 2019.- Coinciding with the celebration of its 15th anniversary, the Valencian company S2 Grupo has opened in Valencia one of the most advanced cybersecurity centers in the world. These are highly technological facilities which, together with their Cybersecurity Operations Center also located in this city, are unique and have made Valencia the center of European cybersecurity. The new facilities, located in C/ Joan Reglá nº6, received this afternoon the visit of the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig. In addition, the meeting was attended by the managing-partners of S2 Grupo, Miguel A. Juan and José Rosell, and the Minister of Finance, Vicent Soler, among other authorities. The company's new corporate headquarters, has 1,200 m2 and a capacity for 150 people, and its function is to centralize the Corporate Management, the R&D+i Development Center and a new industrial cybersecurity laboratory. In this way, its facilities in C/ Ramiro de Maeztu (Valencia) have become one of the world’s safest, most advanced and complete Cybersecurity Operations Centers (CERT, response center for cybersecurity incidents) with a capacity of 2,500 m2. “The expansion of our facilities is the result of the growth experienced by S2 Grupo, of our commitment to consolidate the company's presence in the Valencian Community and, of course, the creation of wealth through the creation of qualified and stable employment. In addition, he stressed that thanks to this company, Valencia has become a pole of interest in this area in Europe. An investment of more than 1 million euros has been made for this project to expand its headquarters, which arose as a result of the growth experienced by the company in accordance with its 2018-2022 strategic plan. In addition, S2 Grupo has work centers in Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Brussels, Bogotá, Bríndisi, Mexico City and Lisbon. Together with these cities, it continues its international expansion and is beginning to develop its activity in Chile, Panama, Peru and Ecuador.
