S2 Grupo strengthens its presence in the Netherlands
At S2 Grupo, we have had the honor of receiving the visit of the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Spain, Roel Nieuwenkamp, at our main facilities. This visit allowed us to show him first-hand our track record as the largest cybersecurity company with 100% Spanish capital and how we are consolidating our presence in the Netherlands and Europe.
Since 2022, we have had a delegation in the Netherlands, which has allowed us to develop key cybersecurity projects for important entities such as the European Central Bank, the Port of Rotterdam, several United Nations agencies, and in critical sectors such as water, energy, logistics, transport and healthcare. Our collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Center of the Netherlands reinforces our commitment to the protection of vital infrastructure in this region.
This visit is part of the events following the Netherlands Business Summit, held in April, in which S2 Grupo played a leading role, supporting bilateral cooperation between Spain and the Netherlands, in the presence of King Felipe VI and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.
During the visit, the ambassador was able to visit our new facilities, which have become a true epicenter of European cybersecurity. During this meeting, we shared with him our areas of expertise in cybersecurity and cyberintelligence, as well as our R&D projects and the expansion plan we have planned for the coming years, both in the Netherlands and in Western and Northern Europe.
We are proud to say that we currently have a strong customer base in the Netherlands, ranging from critical infrastructure, such as ports and airports, to cybersecurity projects for various cities. These clients include both public and private institutions, which reinforces our position as an international benchmark in the field of cybersecurity.
Our purpose in this European expansion is clear: to enhance the technological independence of the continent and contribute to digital sovereignty in a global context where cyberespionage and cyberwarfare are increasingly frequent. Furthermore, our presence is strengthened by our active participation as founding members of the European Cybersecurity Association (ECSO) and as part of the Partnership Board, collaborating directly with the European Commission in the definition of the cybersecurity R&D strategy for the coming years.
At S2 Grupo, we remain committed to the security of our customers in Europe and beyond, offering solutions that ensure the protection of critical infrastructures and guaranteeing digital stability and security in key sectors such as Distribution, Energy, Banking and Insurance, Healthcare and Industry, as well as in Public Administration organizations.
