Valencia, July 3, 2017.- Following the 2017 General Assembly in Brussels of the European Cyber ​​Security Organization (ECSO), the Valencian company S2 Grupo was selected as a representative of SMEs in this entity. The association has four representatives for this sector with the aim of defending their interests at the European level and currently, together with S2 Grupo, Conceptivity, Digital SME and Clickalba will play this role. S2 Grupo, which is also one of the founding members of the ECSO, was also chosen to be part of the Partnership Board responsible for collaborating with the European Commission to define the R&D strategy in cybersecurity in the coming years. In this way, the company will be responsible for the coordination of the strategy and decision making of the ECSO, which is the highest representative of ​​cybersecurity in Europe. From the association they will become partners with the European Commission in matters of lobby and R&D strategies in the sector. "The launching of the ECSO has been a milestone for Europe's cybersecurity since it involves bringing together more than 200 companies and public and research entities for the development of digital security in the EU. One of the main objectives of ECSO for the coming years is to establish the R&D strategy for the next Framework Program 9, 2021-2024 together with the European Commission.
