They have developed the app Anima whose purpose is the creation of a technological application for the care of the mental health of young people.
Miguel A. Juan and José Rosell, partners-directors of S2 Grupo, as well as Vicente Collado, CEO of ISECO, the company behind Desafío Steam Valencia, were also present at the meeting.
The prize they have received is technological material for their educational center valued at €1,400.
About Desafío Steam Valencia: the value of promoting technical vocations among young people
The STEAM Valencia Challenge, launched by ISECO, has arisen with the aim of promoting a society where there is gender equality in the technology sector. To this end, companies and educational institutions must encourage technical vocations (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) among young students.
The final objective of the competition was to develop an idea that solves a problem in society and that requires the use of some technology to do so. Each team was made up of between 4 and 6 students, and had to meet one of two requirements: either the majority of the team participants were girls or there had to be a female captain, in the case of a minority of women in the team.
In addition to supporting the development of the idea, S2 Grupo and the other participating companies designated a “trainer”, a company employee with a technical profile, to be responsible for the relationship between the institute and the company.
During the four months of work, the company made the greatest possible impact on the school, so that the students could learn first-hand about the work that the technical profiles of the women in the company perform on a daily basis, what technologies they use, why they chose a technical profession, etc.
S2 Grupo: Evoluciona2
S2 Grupo's participation in Desafío Steam Valencia is part of Evoluciona2, its CSR program that describes the company's strategy to develop the business without losing sight of its responsibility to the people who work in the company and to society.

Therefore, for S2 Grupo it is crucial to participate in activities that promote the presence of women in the technology sector from the earliest stages such as schools or institutes.
